What is Romero and the ACLU were doing in the middle of this celebrity scandal?
They were glory seeking on a #MeToo opportunity, by not vetting their client, and not vetting the information they ghost wrote for her, that Slandered/Libelled Johnny Depp. Instead of taking the pro civil rights position, they tried to be bullies, hacks and attention seekers, bringing shame to what they once stood for.

I think that spends way too much time fawning and pretending they were something they weren't. But at least they could pretend to be somewhat nonpartisan by occasionally taking the other side, and defending liberties over the agenda. But for my lifetime they've continued the slide from being about civil liberties, to be a mouthpiece for the DNC and any far-left causes, no matter how unjust or how many civil rights they need to crush to get there.
