Since Kanye (now Ye) is a bombast/boundary pusher, it's a matter of time before he said something that the left could take out of context, and use as an excuse. Apple is part of cancel culture… I want software and hardware, and dont need a nanny.
Kanye may be an idiot, but the world needs "how not to" examples. And I’d rather that was Kanye than Apple.
As near as I could tell, he said blacks were Jews, and used some stereotypes. No calls for violence, or anything worse than the NYT or CNN lies about Trump supporters. Not as bas as many progressives like the Squad, or BDS movements on campus. So if you are going to set that standard, then you have to apply it to all sides, or you are the problem.
But it was never about what he said, or what he meant -- it was always about fucking over someone for not being progressive enough (or for being a black conservative that wouldn't stay on the leftist ideological plantation). And he gave them the excuse they needed.
