So I went back to a Blue Hatch, this one longer and sportier: the Acura Integra was the love child of the Civic and the Prelude, with a spoiler, little nicer interior, and sporty wheels.
I like Honda's reliability. A little underpowered unless you ran the revs high, but I shifted late, and liked them. I did go through clutches on them though. In the end it was stolen from my condo, and when I got it back, it had bad Ju Ju, so I replaced it with an Isuzu Amigo.
I came home for lunch at my condo, when I came out, it was gone. Stolen. Quite annoying. I remember not believing that had just happened.
A few days later, the Insurance Company called, it was found, stripped in South L.A. I went up there, identified it, and they'd gutted it. They let me out with a crate for a seat, and a wrench for a steering wheel, I was surprised.
Insurance didn't total it, they put it back together -- but I had a couple quirks, creaks and things that needed fixing. So I sold it: I didn't trust that it wouldn't be a money-pit after that. Plus it had bad Karma.
