He was a celebrity when resorting to body mutilation, now that he's wiser, the media is no longer interested in his plight.

The interview covered:

The point is not that trans people are bad. But that there are psychologists out there putting agenda above their patients interests and wellbeing. Not all that transition are happy. (Most aren't). It fixes nothing, and is just giving in to the phobia (dysphoria) -- which helps them avoid the underlying issues. For a few, that's enough. For many? It just kicks the problems down the road, and complicates with medical issues.
