This of course isn't a single event -- and while Apple took a lot of heat for adding it to iOS, Google did it to Android first. All the Tech Companies have lefties in them, who will tantrum, protest or obstruct if they don't get their way. So they got on the committees (or in influencing them) and kept demanding more and more compromises on the sanity of iconic language.

Humans are organisms, that are organized around biological reproduction: men and women. When you do something stupid-but-well-itentioned like act inclusive towards Women with gender dysphoria (who whish they were men), and create a Pregnant Man emoji, it has a reaction. It tells all Women, that there's nothing special about having a baby, anyone can do it. That might not be the intended signal, but it is the outcome. Just like saying men are allowed to compete in Women's sports, is a reminder to women that compete, that no matter how good/strong they get, they will still lose to men. When humans have a choice between intentions and actions, they go with actions. |
Entropy into stupidity[edit | edit source]
Orginally the ideograms were abtrast: person dancing.
Then they had to add gender. Men, Woman dancing.
Then they had to add race. So now we have shades of color dancing.
The specifics do less to actually help communicating than they do to add errors/noise. "Black guy running from Police? Female Indian Dancing? Oh, you mean Bollywood Dancing!" And so on. More specificity often adds more confusion, as there's more details to distract from the concept. But the woke don't give a shit about common sense.

Period. Some women with short hair, and dressing up as a man do. Some even "transition" and take male hormones to grow facial hair and pose as men, do. But they must stop to get pregnant. So it's like saying, "look at the parapelegic dwarf playing for the LA Lakers Basketball Team" -- they may really want to, and I might feel sorry that they can't. I don't hate them because I admit that they can't. I'm just accepting reality that they can't play Basketball, at a professional level, and pretending they can is playing into a psychosis (and a cruel joke). It's like telling the tinfoiled hat wearing homeless person, that the aliens really are reading their mind waves and going to experiment on them. Just stop. Respect them enough to respect their limitations and help them discern reality. |
Prioritization[edit | edit source]
Then there's the order of priority.
They did things like ruin "Gun" by re-inventing it into a Squirt Gun, without ever replacing the real gun. Let alone the differentiators like a shotgun, pistol, rifle, assault rifle, and so on.
Pretend you're not woke, and can do 4th grade math. There are 150M gun owners in the U.S., and the idea of guns is something that's universal the world over. And is a key part of a language, politics, religion, etc... "Guys with guns came and took my brothers away", "someone was robbed at gunpoint", "I'm watching the biathalon in the Olympics = Ski+Gun". That's a real issue, the world over. So as part of the language, it's important, and frequent.
Trans population is like 0.1% of the population. Then divide by how many are F2M's. Then divide by how many want to get pregnant, are pregnant, and want to still look like men? You're at 0.001% of the population. In fact, you kinda can't, because medically the hormones for facial hair, fight with the ones that make big boobs and your hips broaden/relax in prep for passing a child though. Most can't bind their baby-feeders to look like a man. So even if they wanted to look like a man, while pregnant, the obviousness of nature/science is that this is a pregnant woman trying to dress up as a man. (Your gender is not your feelings, but your biology/chromosomes).
Potential for misuse[edit | edit source]
Already the thought-police left is outraged that people abuse things like the Unbrella to mean condom, or Eggplant for penis, imagine the abuse of a Pregnant man to mean woosy-man, or I have to take such a huge shit that I feel pregnant? Or use it because it looks like Bill Gates?
When the woke try to control language, they just incentivize the counter-culture to figure out ways to mock them, using their restrictions (or characters) against them. I mean the leftists bought into a practical joke that the OK finger gesture means White Power... how long until Pregnant Man is going to be a euphemism for prison rape? And remember, Prison Rape is more common and needs to be expressed more often than a Pregnant Man.
People are creative and smarter than woke bureaucrats.
Conclusion[edit | edit source]
So I don't really care about a Pregnant Man icon for being inclusive. However:
- It's retarded and overly specific, it adds more confusion than value to an iconic language. So it wasn't done for linguistic/communication value, but for political virtue signaling.
- It was math challenged and it's completely misprioritized compared to icons that have far more application and value in the real world.
- It invites misuse and abuse since it has no value (such infentesimally low value) in real use, since it is so rare.
So we could have Santa, Easter Bunny, and Unicorn emoji... that doesn't mean for constistency we need a Santa Riding a Unicorn with the Easter Bunny emoji. So despite some rationalizations, this is nothing but woke virtue signaling that shows a willingness to cater to the low IQ / woke. But again, there are plenty of other more serious things that the Silicon Valley does to demonstrate hypocrisy, and that impacts me in more serious ways -- so this doesn't rank anything beyond a rant at pointing out how stupid I think they are. And I can use it as an example of how people smart at one thing (like programming) can be so very stupid in the ways of life, or thinking things through. They create the dogma that woke is cool and smart and caring, then they're dumb enough to believe their own bullshit, then they're shocked at the consequences. Welcome to Big Tech.
