Fallacy of Race
There's this fallacy that White, Black, Asian are a single race... or that the group is an entity.

I like to point out I have more in common with a black computer nerd from the burbs of Orange County, than I have with some Iranian kid that grew up in the Ghetto of Detroit or the slums of Turkey: because culture means more than race. The same that a Black and White person that are Marines, will find plenty more in common than they will with an anti-Military activist of the same color.
This is why Black kids raised by Asians, generally perform as well on tests as Asians. And white kids raised by blacks, generally score more like blacks. Or why upper class Black and Latino middle-class kids don't have the same problems with gangs/crime/murders or other cultural problems as poor black/white/latino kids: unless they immerse themselves in those cultures. So what most people attribute to race is culture, and what you take from a culture is a choice and not about skin color. |
Details[edit | edit source]
Race generally meant subspecies in taxonomy, and genetically, humans don't have enough variance to really be separated[1][2] -- we are all Homo sapiens. That's our race. The genetic diversity between the two furthest humans is less than the variances between the two closest dog breeds.
History[edit | edit source]
The idea of race was invented by people that wanted to be racists: and pretend that were distinct, and one is superior over the other.... and it is still used that way. Those that want to divide us, want to convince us that we're different (based on genetics).
Now there are differences, but they are cultural. But if the racists admit that, then how can they divide us and claim special victimhood status, or decry systemic racism? So they need people to believe that we are different -- and deny reality.
Reality is that a black kid raise by white parents, will behave culturally (and economically, and in outcomes) like a White kid. A White kid raised by Asians, will often behave culturally and perform accademically, like an Asian kid. There is no "Asian kids are good at math" because they're Asian... or "black kids are good at basketball". What there is, is kids raised by Asians are more likely to focus on homework, and kids raised by black parents are likely to value sports. But they don't have to. And anyone can override their upbringing with just a little effort.
Once you accept that the vast majority of the differences are cultural, efforts to divide us, falls apart. Every culture can fix their cultural quirks, and are responsible for them. Individuals are not held back by their skin tone -- they are held back by attitudes. We go back to being America: the land of opportunity, and not the FakeAmerica and the land of systemic oppression that some want to re-imagine us into.
If there are no races, then how can there be racism? Answer: there isn't. There is some cultural bigotries based on stereotypes (overgeneralizations). But you don't have to tear down a nation and rebuld it in the Marxist image to fix that stuff. To be more unified all that you need to do is denounce those claiming there is race and racism, and we magically, become more similar.
Conclusion[edit | edit source]
Race generally meant subspecies in taxonomy, and genetically, humans don't have enough variance to really be separated: we are all Homo sapiens. That's our race. So if we know that race is "made up", and has no real basis in science (as applied to humans), then what's left is political. Thus, it was a construct made up by politicians to divide and control us. And those who buy-in, are tools of those pols that are mind-controlling them. Thus anyone that really talks about "race" as applied to humans is either a polemic or a rube.
