Gretchen Whitmer Kidnapping

The FBI arrested 13 men on a plot to Kidnap the Gov of Mi (Gretchen Whitmer); and the FBI was behind the plot. The FBI made a big deal out of arresting 13 men on a plot to Kidnap the Governor of Michigan (Gretchen Whitmer)... but the FBI was seemd to be egging them on (entrapment). Only 2 pled out, 4 others were charged (2 acquitted, other 2 hung jury and are being recharged), the FBI couldn't call many witnesses or people involved, and had to recuse because of conflicts. Facts

• Of the 13 originally mentioned, only 4 were charged. (Not as big as claimed?)
• Two of those members had been acquitted when it was found they were entrapped.
• The other two, including the alleged ringleader Adam Fox, resulted in a hung jury, because the evidence was so weak, and the case was so sloppy.
• 2 did plead out, but like many innocent people that's easier to do than go bankrupt fighting a corrupt government with near infinite sources, so I'm not sure that's proof of guilt as much as proof of how powerful our government has become.
• The primary witnesses (Stephen Robeson) and alleged leader of the plot, seems to have burned by the FBI when they brought him up on gun charges and never called as a witness after.
• Three of the FBI agents involved in the plot had been removed from the court case. For such things as prior perjury, another assaulted his wife at a swingers party, another was doing side work for an Internet Troll.

The point is not whether the plot happened or how guilty the accused are. It appears they were discussing it, most were uncomfortable with the discussion, and the FBI was prodding them on -- but it's highly questionable if they were going through with it, or just venting. But the FBI botched the case from the start, and all the way through, and lied a few times.
