Template:Categories works by parsing an array using {{#arraymap:, and creating a [[Category:x]] for each item.
Just include a , (comma) separated list of categories, and all those categories will be added to a page.
Or something like:
- Include {{Categories|Categories=Name,Rank,Serial}}
- and it will output [[Category:Name]][[Category:Rank]][[Category:Serial]]
