- Guns and Igno-arrogance - Really dumb smart people are folks that are good and one thing (software, science, accademia...) and think that being a domain expert in one area, translates to things they know nothing about (politics, the real world, etc). Then they are particulary arrogant because they know how smart they are. So they can't fathom they are out of their depth.
- Humble brag - Humble brag - why am I so humble? Because everyone knows more than me about something. Smarter than most people, on most things, also means that an average person knows more than me on at least one thing (even something I think I know). And there's other smart people out there that know more than me on a few things. You gotta ask questions to find out what.
- Igno-Arrogance - Knowledge may not make people humble, and arrogance doesn't make people ignorant: that stuff comes from deeper down. But a little knowledge gives people a bravado that more knowledgable people often don't have (called the Dunning-Kruger effect). And arrogance makes people not question their righteousness. So there's a correlation, even if it's not causal.
- Knowledge makes people humble - Knowledge makes people humbleNamespaces. Arrogance makes people ignorant.
- Taoism - The 'Tao' is an indescribable abstract.Since I enjoy a challenge, I'll try to describe it. Though some of the concepts of 'Tao', can be described, this is not a description of the Tao itself. The Tao is a holistic concept; where one must understand many of the parts to understand the sum. But it's about nature, balances, and the path to achieving it.
