Biden snubbed DeSantis for days while prepping for it. Bitter over the Fl governor outperforming him during COVID, and polling higher in Presidential polls for 2024. Biden first said they wouldn't be calling DeSantis. Then after some blowback and prods, they reluctantly called. ^[1]

DeSantis praised Biden and said the admin was very helpful (once they got around to calling), it was the classy thing to do. But the Biden admin couldn't reflect civility. WH was asked about whether they thought DeSantis did a good job -- and evaded the point. It wasn't because DeSantis did a poor job -- he did spectacularly, it was sheer, petty politics that wouldn't allow a petty politician like Biden to just admit that they did a good job. Very small. ^[2]

Kamala Harris - the VP who gave head to get ahead (Willie Brown), decided to politicize Hurricane Ian–relief aid should be distributed “based on equity.”... and falsely claiming the storm hurt the poor and brown-skinned more than anyone else. Not only is that stupid (in fact, rich whites are more likely to live on the coast than poor blacks or latinos), it's also unnecessarily divisive. You either want to help everyone or be a good democrat and use every crisis as an opportunity to advance racist/classist/divisive agendas. I want to help Americans -- not just conservatives. If only the left put Americans above their agenda. ^[3]
