Isolationism/Pacifism is internationally is wanting to mind your own business, or not wanting to fight.
Isolationism/Pacifism is internationally is wanting to mind your own business, or not wanting to fight. Those aren't quite the same things. The left will fight, but doesn't want to pay the costs and wants to get out quicker. The right is sometimes more reluctant, but if in the fight, will fight to win. (The left won't commit enough to win, and fights to lose).

(pacifist). Historically, the left has been more pacifist than the right. But the right has more isolationists: and isolationism was more traditional American foreign policy. But once in the fight, the right wants to fight to win, the left historically fights to lose.
