The media wants to pretend that we should treat her with the respect her crap-pedigree demands, while openly treating real Doctors on the right (Carlson, Paul, etc) with open contempt. We don’t call lawyers “doctor” because the have JD’s. Not even the women ones.
Jill got this degree to seem important, according to her husband. And pretending it makes her an MD like Whoopie Goldberg and the best minds on the left believe, is just laughable.
Jill’s thesis is not cited as adding to human knowledge for reasons, and she has no notable accomplishments in her field, or the leftist press would be citing them. Thats not sexist.

The basics are:

(A) If the left and their media attacks women on the other side (Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, and all the female conservative pundits), they don’t get to pretend that by nature of lady parts, that their gender is off limits.
(B) the leftist media treats conservative REAL doctors, with real professional accomplishments (like Ben Carlson or Rand Paul) with open contempt, and never refers to them with their honorifics. So they don’t get to pretend it’s an outrage to fail to call their side by their weaker titles.
(C) if they treated the far more accomplished First Ladies like Melania (and their families) with snide snipes, they do not get to whine with an open double standard that the office protects their side against criticism. ... at least not without looking like foolish hypocrites.

So pick any one standard, and I’m cool with it — as long as it’s not a double standard.

If you were one of the few defending conservative women, or First Ladies, or conservative doctors be addressed by their titles, then you get to complain. Otherwise? LOL.

That being said, I’m not a fan of articles like this one that are all snipe with no support. NR has gone way downhill. Jill’s thesis might be crap (as proven that no fawning journalist has cited its greatness), but if so, cite it, link it, and deconstruct why. Hand waiving that you read it, and it sucks, with no examples? I expect that sort of “trust us” bullshit from non-journalistic sources like CNN or NYT. But it deserves to be called out on both sides. Social Justice might demand that Jill be treated like Mrs. Trump, but the readership should still demand more of their sides authors.
