New Zealand sexual deviant that invented ideas on Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation that were later disproven. He believed gender was completely malleable (100% Nurture), thus his surgical re-assignment of Bruce/David Reimer to girl and forced sex acts, ended in David's transition back and suicide. Money never admitted wrongdoing.

Facts[edit | edit source]

🗒️ Note:
Gender comes from genre or gene. It's a Scientific classification/categorization of an organism being organized for the purpose of impregnating (male) or being impregnated (female). Anyone that pretending that "Gender" is a preference based on desires or socialization, is denying the science of what the word means. Scientifically, you'd make a new word/classification for psychological sexual preferences or identity. Politically, the left will hijack the language and re-invent what words mean to inject ambiguity where there need not be any.
  • Money grew up in an abusive home, and identified with the women in the family, and said things like he hated being afflicted with being a male. Those were the likely origins of his fascination with transgenderism.
  • Money (and early feminism) argued that Gender was learned trait rather than innate. And invented the ideas of Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation. Girls acted like girls because of nurture rather than nature -- and damn the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. (Developmental differences, and varying skill/interest gaps between boys and girls has been well documented).
  • Money had the view that there is no sexual deviancy/perversions, anything humans wanted to do sexually was normal (Paraphilias). [1]
  • He went on to defend the ideas of pedophilia as normal and could even be healthy and consensual.
  • During a circumcision mistake on the Reimer twins, one boy (Bruce) had his penis burned off. Money suggested to the parents, since identity was learned, that he could do sex re-assigment surgery and turn him into a girl (Brenda). All they had to do is raise him accordingly, she'd have a happy life, and nobody would be the wiser.
  • Money did studies up to age 10 where he claimed his operation was a success, and it proved his theories. Money wrote, "The child's behavior is so clearly that of an active little girl and so different from the boyish ways of her twin brother." The opposite was true.
  • Brenda was experiencing suicidal depression, and he told his parents he would take his own life if they made him see Money again. His parents told him the truth about his gender reassignment, and Brenda got the surgery reversed and became David (Bruce was the old pre-mutilated name). In 1997 he was urged to come forward with his horror stories to avoid it happening to other children.
  • David explain about how John Money had bullied Brenda/David and her twin Brian to commit sex acts (dry humping) aka "Child Sex Rehersal" and other things, and forced her into being a girl, and doctored the data to pretend that there were no problems, to prove his theories correct.
  • For the first 30 years after Money's initial report that the reassignment had been a success, Money's view of the malleability of gender became the dominant viewpoint among physicians and doctors, reassuring them that sexual reassignment was the correct decision in certain instances, resulting in thousands of sexual mutilization of children. Which all could have been avoided if Money had just admitted the truth.
  • A scientist could admit his mistake. Or at least explain that one datapoint denotes caution, but is not indicative of every case. A megalomaniac would hide the data, refuse to admit the mistake, and do what Money did.
