Gun-illiterates think that limiting magazines to 10 rounds will reduce deaths, or give someone the opportunity to charge the shooter in a mass shooting, or that criminals committing mass murder, can't easily get around a dumb law. They can't back it up with any evidence, and common sense, statistics and every expert explains they are idiots. But they refuse to learn.

There's a fallacy amongst the gun-illiterates that limiting magazines to 10 round clips will give someone the opportunity to charge the shooter, in the fraction of a second it takes to reload.

We fought all wars prior to the Korean war without removable magazines, and people were plenty effective at mass killings.

In all the mass shootings recorded, there was only one case where someone was able to disarm the shooter while he was reloading, and that's because he stumbled around the corner into someone while doing it.

And like many gun-control measures written by the uninformed, while this is a great annoyance to legal shooters, it's effectiveness in stopping mass shooters is completely delusional.

Thus it divides legal gun owners against those who think the problems are simple, but don't understand the basics.
