Nike
From iGeek
Nike decided to go all corporate slacktivism with a variety of efforts that don't seem to work out well for them.

- Betsy Ross Shoes - Nike rolled back Patriotic Americana Shoes, with the Betsy Ross flag, because Comrade Colin Kaepernick didn't like them. These shoes had an American Flag, created by an abolitionist, and Colin claims he isn't againts White People or the American Flag, but he protested them out of existence anyways.
- Nike KneelToo - Nike decided to get involved in Colin Kaepernick's #KneelToo movement, with posters supporting him and "Just Do it" advertising (talking about his sacrifice for a good cause). Let the deserved mocking begin. The reason it doesn't hurt Nike much, is most of their sales are global, and most of the Globe doesn't get or care that #KneelToo is racist.
- Nike supports National Socialism - Nike pretends they care about freedom and the oppressed but then aids Chinese oppressors over Hong Kong Freedom Fighters. In this case a Social Media hate campaign against a designer for the radical tweet, "No extradition. Go Hong Kong!"
Conclusion[edit | edit source]
I'm somewhat curious what Nike will do next to virtue signal and shoot themselves in the foot. I guess they're trying to prove the adage, "sometimes your purpose in life, is to serve as a warning for others". I'm hoping that's the case. Because they if they succeed by being divisive and chasing the feelings the young, gullible, disenfranchised... then others will follow, and the nation will become more bitter and divided.
