Our Honeymoon was we drove down to San Diego for an extended weekend.

We did Old Town... which is partly about the history, look and feel.
But mostly about the food... home made tortillas, nom nom.
We also did Pacific Beach (PB) -- a little shopping, a little beaching.
Mostly, we went to Sea World and saw Shamu.
Nothing says marital bliss like watching the alpha predator of the sea, being domesticated, and doing tricks for dinner. In movies this is called foreshadowing.
But that came later, for now, it was all about the riding the log. (That's a log ride in the background).
The next week, we had a party for our friends... and announced we had gotten married. I figured it would save them some gifts and rituals, but surprisingly, this didn't go over very well. We'd been in our friends weddings and some felt cheated/slighted. But we did it "our way".
