A year of not healing: in/out/in/walking casts then surgery to put in a titanium rod. California and the Fedderal government both rejected her disabilty claims, saying crutches and a cast shouldn't prevent her from being a flight attendant. They rejected appeals by United and her Union: the government did it's job, and prevented us from getting a service (disability) that we were entitled to. While they readily give it out to unworthy folks for less.

But her anti-Osteoporosis drug meant it wouldn't heal.
We tried crutches, walking casts, rest, but it wouldn't heal.
So time for surgery to put in a titanium bone.
We made sure they made the correct leg bionic.
