The Blind Side (2009)

Really good movie, better than the 66/85 on Rotten Tomatoes (in my opinion). Best of this list of 2011 flicks, by far.
Some people got bent about the cliche's of white family saving a black kid, or the black kid turning out to be a star athlete. (Playing to some stereotypes). And there is that. More human interest than SJW/Race (which is why SJW's hated it), and this one is more or less a true story. Best of 2011 flicks, by far.

In the end, it was just really good performances of a nice but completely predictable (semi-known) story. Race is a part of the story, mostly in overcoming different worlds -- but it's more just a human interest story about how people from dramatically different realities can impact each other (in good ways).

If you want to see leftist bias in media, you just have to look at all the examples of how far off from their reviewers are from their viewers. I use the spread as a predictor of whether I'll like a film. Big spread with audience over critics? I'm going to like it. But big spread with critics over audience? I'll usually side with audience.

Tatometer Summary
RottenBLIND.png The Blind Side - It was the Obama and woke era. Since this wasn't woke enough (showing the true story of a white woman helping a black kid), the Reviews gave it a 66, while the audience gave it a 90% for the actual story/movie. It was nice, sweet - but the far left was looking for a Django Unchained, not the truth about race in America.
