Personally, I would want my kid to go to a Mosque. Hell, I'd go with them, just to hear what they're being taught and enjoy the visit. (My Dad is Muslim, though I'm not). But I really, really don't like the idea of the state mandating it, and punishing non-compliance -- that's f'in terrifying.
