This show answers the never asked question, "What if we combine cakes with robotics and make autonomous confectionary?"

I watch a lot of reality cooking shows, or more accurately, my wife likes them and I tolerate them.
They are interesting enough background mindless entertainment, and I go think about what they are preparing. But to me it is like going to a strip club -- if all I can do is watch, where's the fun in that? I can't taste it. They don't give me the recipes. So there's a little thought in what would I do with those ingredients... wrapped in never getting the answer of "how did that turn out".
Baking Impossible has that -- wrapped around a reality show where they're trying to make automatons or remote control cars out of food, and so on.
It wasn't horrible, and some of the creations are fun. (It gets great ratings on Rotten Tomatoes : 100/73). So it's not a bad baking/engineering competition reality show, if you think you'd be into that. But it's less applicable that most baking shows to my day-to-day life, because there's even less about the baking and ingredients than most cooking shows. (I can't copy the recipes). And there certainly isn't enough to have anything useful about the engineering. So it's more about let's just see what crazy shit they think up. But it still works, if you like the format and premise of the show.
