FakeNews
- 2017.01.10 Fake Dossier - Nobody wanted to publish the discredited Steele (Pee Pee) Dossier, which turned out to be Hillary disinformation. BuzzFeed was first to post the tabloid garbage... then NYT, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and others jumped on board. For years, the right wing exposed how stupid the claims were. It wasn't until 5 years later, many of the left wing publications offered back page retractions.
- 2017.02 Trumps ExecOrder cause a Woman's Death - CNN's Erol Lewis pushed a false story that Trump’s Executive Immigration Order caused Michigan Woman’s Death, after the story had already been disproven. If they retracted and apologized, they might not be known as FakeNews.
- 2019.01.27 Learn to Code - ❄️ The left is angry because after the Obama administration's anti-business/anti-coal policies put many thousands of coal miners out of work they supported the administrations, "Learn to Code" response. Then the same Journos/Organizations had lay-offs... and they found the "Learn to Code" retweets insensitive, when it was being applied to them.
- 2019.02.23 Tuckergate - BuzzFeed FakeJournalist (Kate Aurthur) tries to gotcha Tucker Carlson by tweeting a picture of a sex worker trying to kiss him on the cheek. One of the attendees explains the context of Dennis Hof's wake, Tucker is laughing and pulling away, and had no idea what her profession was. A journalist would have called for comment before posting.
- 2019.03.20 FOIA Requests - Brent Scher at Free Beacon Compared FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests to the EPA to see how many times media outlets fact-checked or investigated Obama versus Trump. The results showed obvious bias (aka FakeNews / Agenda Journalism).
- Trump ordered Cohen to lie to investigators - Trump had ordered his Attorney (Michael Cohen) to lie to investigators, or so the Press Reported. This set off the Democrat's impeachment Tourettes. Never mind that it was implausible, from an unreliable author, anonymously sourced, and made no sense. FakeNews reported it. Mueller later admitted it was bullshit. And after a lot of fanfare, it went away.
