2019.03.20 FOIA Requests

Brent Scher compared FOIA requests on Obama versus Trump and got an obvious example of bias.

Brent Scher at Free Beacon Compared FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests to the EPA to see how many times media outlets fact-checked or investigated Obama versus Trump. The results showed obvious bias (aka FakeNews / Agenda Journalism).

Biased News is Fake News, as is having different standards based on party. So a real Journalist (Brent Scher at Free Beacon), just did a simple thing compared FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests to the EPA to see how many times media outlets fact-checked or investigated Obama versus Trump, and got the following:

NYT did 4x as many request in Trump's first year, as Obama's entire last term.
WaPo: went from 1 request for Obama's last term to 43 in Trump's first 2 years
Politico: 15 to 198
CNN 25 to 47
Buzzfeed: 18 to 38
ABC: 4 to 32

This is evidence of a double-standard that the observant have known about for decades -- the leftist media doesn't care about the lefist lies/mistakes. But they sure want to play gotcha with the right. This makes the left both more corrupt and dishonest.

🗒️ Note:
I have no problem with the media trolling with FOIA requests on Trump. What I have a problem with is them only doing it selectively when the guy in charge has an (R) after his name. A 400% increase isn't just an accident. And this is only one data point of bias, in an ocean of them. This is evidence that the cries of FakeNews have some validation, and the reason this President is so abrasive towards the Press is the press really is out to change the standards to "get" him.

The lowest of the news outlets: the journalism of Twitter or Redit with pretentiousness of the New Yorker.
