Debunking the PBS article:

(1) Average birthrate does not debunk that women on welfare have kids (or more kids) to get paychecks. Interview them. I've heard black kids say they were going to do exactly that. I've had clients say they did it. So who are we to believe -- the people, or an abstract number not taking into account any specific circumstances.
