Disney went woke. Tim Allen isn't. Disney replaced Tim Allen on Buzz Lightyear (an iconic role he owns). WTF?

Reasons to think the decision was part of Woke Stupidity?
Because they put in a same sex kiss, into a kids movie.[1] Which got them banned from some markets (Saudi Arabia).
I don't really think this activism is needed or wise, even if I don't care. Just bad business, as it's going to alienate a lot of people, for no good reason. It isn't really valuable to kids (gay or not), and it's likely just an awkward add. And it isn't what gay activism or tolerance looks like, and will never appease the wokescolds anyways. (All pain, no gain, and no moral high ground). Pick your battles.
(Again, I don't care about gay characters, etc., if it's part of the story or adds something of value. But most Disney film don't need it. And if they think they do, then do one about a gay lead character and let the market decide, instead of sabotaging an established franchise by adding it in).
