MM thinks that AR-15 stands for "Assault Rifle 15th Revision". It means Armalite Rifle, the company that designed it. Here's MM's Deputy Director of Rapid Response arguing that the AR-15 stands for Assault Rifle 15th revision. For the record, it stands for Armalite (the company that first made it and it would take about 30 seconds to verify that). But this guy has tripled down, claiming he knows what he's talking about.
