- The country's varied topography and sharp mountain peaks, including the Southern Alps, owe much to tectonic uplift and volcanic eruptions.
- New Zealand/Gun Confiscation - After a far-left environmentalist shot up some mosques (and was slowed by a civilian with a gun), the leftists went full fascist and used that as an excuse to outlaw semi-automatics and round them up. Compliance was between 13-17% meaning they created ≈7 times as many new felons and illegal weapons as they collected. They taught 87% of gun owners contempt for the law.
