The Steele (Pee Pee) dossier was DNC disinfo, used to get illegal warrants to spy, and to create a fake investigation. Facts

• April 2016, Hillary Clinton's campaign and the DNC, paid the Russians/Christopher Steele, through a consulting firm Fusion GPS, via their money launderer/lawyer (Marc Elias/Perkins Coie), to do salacious opposition research on Donald Trump. They invented a fake and discredited dossier.

• Then DNC operatives like (James Comey, John McCain, etc.) leaked it to the Press.

• The Obama administration intelligence agencies, then used that discredited dossier (and the FakeNews) to lie to the FISA Courts, to get illegal warrants, to spy on Trump administration officials, illegally unmasking Americans (leaking their names, details), and then obstructing justice when investigating what happened.

• Then when Trump legally fired James Comey, at the recommendation of the FBI's ethics investigation for gross incompetence, leaking documents and perjuring himself, the DNC and their media used that to call for investigation into Trump for collusion and obstruction, and for denying he did anything wrong. (Despite knowing that their claims were false).

• After winning a Pulitzer Prize for perpetuating the lie, it took FakeNews outlets like NYT over 3 years to quietly admit their mistake in perpetuating this fraud, all along. (The Prize was not rescinded since the truth takes a back seat to the agenda).

Everything the Democrats accused the Trump Administration of, Hillary actually did.

Clinton

A constant through all Clinton campaigns seems to be dirty tricks and intended to control the narrative: leaking salacious claims about the opposition to distract from all the negatives on their side of the aisle (then lying about it, repeatedly when caught). It didn't have to be true, it just had to keep people talking and questioning things until after the election. Just like the Clinton Administration's involvement in sensationalizing the Obama is from Kenya or a Muslim and being the impetus behind the Birth of Birthers movement. In this case, the Clinton campaign was trying to do the same with the idea that Russians had gained compromising information about Trump (also known as "kompromat,") and had been "cultivating, supporting and assisting" him for an elongated period of time. They wanted the public to believe that Trump was the Manchurian candidate.

The most salacious claims are that President Donald Trump (a known germaphobe) paid Russian prostitutes to pee on the Ritz Hotel bed in Moscow that Barack and Michelle Obama slept on when they visited. And of course, that it was all captured on video, and the Russians could use that to control Trump through blackmail. There's some evidence that a few non-material things might have happened, but there's far more that is provably false... not to mention many names spelled wrong, date and factual errors, and whole concepts that have been investigated deeply since then and no evidence found... but mere errors and lies are not going to stop the people that truly want to believe.

Distract, obfuscate, and change the topic. There's some nuances in the funding that the Democrat media uses to try to cloud up the issue, and the media got it wrong (FakeNews) by repeating the DNC talking points and claiming Republicans funded the Dossier. The Washington Free Beacon (and their #nevertrump patron Paul Singer) hired Fusion GPS for dirt on Trump first... but the Free Beacon dropped the investigation once Trump became the presumptive nominee (May 3rd, 2016), and their funding had nothing to do with Steele and the dossier. The AP, CNN, NYT, MSNBC and other outlets magnified this by getting the story wrong (as usual), and misreported that the Dossier was initially funded by the conservative Washington Free Beacon, they later had to offer a correction -- and they tried to change the subject back to the fake Russia narrative. Also after Hillary had gloriously lost the election, her campaign and the DNC stopped funding the dossier (which had been almost completely compiled by this time), so the co-founder of Fusion GPS (Glenn R. Simpson) paid for last couple weeks of work, and then handed the dossier to British and American intelligence services to use to undermine the President and the election. While agents openly mocked the shoddy report, the FBI/Obama administration still used it to get FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign during an election, and the FBI got caught omitting the origins of the report to the judge. Misleading a judge is a federal crime and is being investigated as such. To date, no one has gone after Glenn R. Simpson for his culpability in this smear campaign, nor will the media blame the DNC or Hillary campaign for their part in trying to undermine the office of the President.

Absurdity

According to Comey, Trump "told [Comey] to consider having the FBI investigate the prostitutes allegation to 'prove it was a lie'".

It seems highly unlikely that the President would request the director of the FBI to investigate something to exonerate him, if he was guilty and there might be evidence the FBI could uncover.

Think about the bigger picture, here's a President that got caught saying/doing all sort of foul things, and he just waved them off. The man tweets from the oval office like a Tourette's victim screaming obscenities in a library, and they think he's worried about what the Russians might say he did? Trump bragged he could shoot someone, and not lose votes. Trump doing a few hookers in a Hotel, and paying them to pee on Obama's bed, is only going to help Trump with his base. So not only didn't anything in the Dossier seem troublesome, let alone worthy of compromising him, but it seems to miss the basics of who Trump is. That Dossier could only appeal to biased Democrats who refuse to think this through at all, and wouldn't vote for him if he cured world hunger, ended disease and caused world peace in the same weekend.

• 2017 Republicans funded the Dossier - FakeNews repeated leftist agitprop that the Republicans funded the PeePee Dossier, thus it must be true. It was Hillary all along. Yet the media kept repeating the lie, or slow-rolling or burying the corrections. No social media punished anyone for repeating the disinformation that it was Republican-funded.
• 2018.02.02 Dossier Origins - Over a year and a half after the Steele Dossier was shown to be the creation of the Clinton campaign, Jim Sciutto at CNN is still repeating the lie that it was created by the Republicans. It's not just that they're wrong, it's that they lie well beyond when the facts prove them wrong.
• 2018.02.08 Cody Shearer - CNN claims Cody Shearer (the private intel operative for Hillary Clinton, and the author of Dossier #2), was an "independent journalist." He hasn't been an active journalist in DECADES, this is like referring to Adolf Hitler as an artist.
• 2018.04.13 Cohen in Prague - McClatchy claims that Cohen was in Prague, which confirms part of the Steele Dossier, and contradicts Cohen's statement that he wasn't. Only no other outlet believes that, and a few mocked McClatchy for publishing it.
• 2019.03.22 Mueller Report - The Mueller Report showed that there was no hint at collusion by Trump or his team, it was a Hillary funded hoax, that was used to obstruct Trump and undermine our Democracy, start illegal investigations and wiretapping, distract from helping America and our interests, and keep the media occupied repeating criminal disinformation.
• James Clapper - Obama crony, serial liar (and perjurer), Russia conspiracy theorist, former Director of National Intelligence that perjuring himself to congress, multiple times. Then he did the media tour, and lied repeatedly, and kept getting caught. Naturally with a Résumé like that, he was a favorite analyst/source for CNN and NYT.
• Michael Cohen - A "fixer" lawyer for many (including Trump), so Robert Mueller dug dirt for the left (on highly questionable grounds), found enough (on things completely unrelated to Trump) to get Cohen to compose a false narative on Trump, for a reduced sentence. Mueller knew all along that Russia Collusion was a Hillary planted hoax all along.
• James Comey - Failed FBI Director, Perjured/lied, Partisan Polemic, Leaker, Theif, Fired for lack of ethics, Obstructed investigation into Russian Collusion, which later expoosed why -- he committed multiple criminal acts. He wrote a book that proved his detractors correct, and wasn't smart enougbh to realize what he confessed to.
• Memogate - Hillary Campaign and the DNC paid for the Fake Steele (Pee Pee) Dossier, and lied to the public about it, ran on the lie, obstructed justice when it was being investigated -- claiming that exposing the memo would harm national security. All it did is show that Hillary campaign was guilty.
• Obamagate - Obamagate is the correct name for Russiagate -- it was the greatest scandal and abuse of power in American History. It was where Obama operatives conspired to use a Fake Dossier as an excuse to spy on a duly elected President and his campaign/administration, and frame various members, in order to undermine the interests of the American people.
• Bruce Ohr - Bruce Ohr worked for the DOJ, and his wife Nellie Ohr was a Clinton operative at Fusion GPS conducting "research and analysis" of Donald Trump, that came up with the fabricated Steele "Pee Pee" Dossier, that the FBI/DOJ used to illegally get wiretaps to spy on the Trump campaign (they got a FISA warrant by misleading the court).
• Russiagate - Hillary paid for "Russian Collusion" narrative. The FBI knew it was false, but used it to illegally tap, distract and harass Trump, and using that material attack, entrap and imprison his allies. The media/social media had evidence it was false, but suppressed it. It was a coup to undermine a duly elected President, and undermine his and American interests for 3 years.
• Schiff memo lies - Here's a few of his whoppers in the 2018 Schiff Memo defending the FBI snd Steele Dossier. (1) The FISA was violated, (2) Steele's Dossier was the basis of getting a warrant (3) Steele's reporting was never corroborated.

• 2017.01.10 Fake Dossier - Nobody wanted to publish the discredited Steele (Pee Pee) Dossier, which turned out to be Hillary disinformation. BuzzFeed was first to post the tabloid garbage... then NYT, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and others jumped on board. For years, the right wing exposed how stupid the claims were. It wasn't until 5 years later, many of the left wing publications offered back page retractions.
