The Fonda story about her giving POW notes to the NVA during her visits are highly disputed. But the facts that so many believe it, shows how much in-character that would have been for her at the time. This has a direct witness, but it's not like the anti-American Bernie supporters would care. If you like Bernie, then you likely have the philosophy that to make an omelet requires breaking a few eggs. And in case you're not getting it, Americans are the eggs.
