I'm pro-environment myself, just anti-environmental-scarism.

This article is about the Environment and Environmental issues.... and since I'm a but of a skeptic and counter-culture person, many (most) of the articles are going to have a spin about things that people think they are doing that's good, but isn't, or things that pretend to help but actually harm the environment, or the frauds that foist this bullshit on their base.

Left	Right
Republicans would destroy the planet or let Corporations do it. The Democrats just care more about the future. Look at all the examples of the end of the world. 1978 Backpacking goes bad, 2019.03.02 Gas Guzzling Hypocrisy, Baizuo, Biggest Polluters are exempted from Climate treaties, Bike Lanes increase pollution, California Coastal Commission, Earth Day, Paul R. Republicans and conservatives care about the future, that's part of why they study the mistakes and exaggerations in the past. The left's "change" often has Unintended Consequences, as well as direct impacts. Most of the left's cause of the past have been wrong or overstated. So it's our responsibility to not only help one imaginary group(s) in the future, but to think through the broader economic impacts to the entire economy/groups, not just view everything through the straw of social justice, or that all solutions must look like centralized socialist tyranny.

🤦 Like leaders that fly high-pollution private jets to environmental conferences, AOC lectures us on the elimination of fossil fuels with her GND (Green New Deal), while she and her staff takes Uber/Lyft everywhere (more than her compatriots), despite being a short walk from the train. When confronted, her reply, "I also fly and use AC, I'm just living in this world".

Baizuo
Definition: Baizuo - Hypocritical ignorant and arrogant westerner liberals who think they are saviors and pretend to care about issues, but only to satisfy their own feeling of moral superiority. The Chinese word for Cuck, Snowflake, Social Justice Warriors, Limousine Liberal, Libtards.

Biggest Polluters are exempted from Climate treaties
If the Environmentalists cared about pollution more than socialism (and ruining the U.S. economy and redistributing our wealth), why would they exempt the biggest polluters? China and India (and Russia) are always exempted. The U.S. is never exempted. The U.S. has a growth economy, unlike Europe, so treaties with Europe don't make sense.

Bike Lanes increase pollution
I rode to work for years. Still, whenever I see a bike lane, I remember the following: bike lanes increase traffic, pollution, fatalities, and costs to society. Which is why Californian's love them: they are anti-progress, anti-tolerance, and hurt more people than they help. What's not to like?

California Coastal Commission
The CCC is what happens when community organizers run development planning: they claim, "To protect, conserve, restore, and enhance the environment of the California coastline" by obstructing development and improvement of one of our countries great resources, saving it from humanity and the usefulness it might have to individuals or our country.

Earth Day
Earth Day was a fake Holiday invented to support the far left, Marxist, anti-Humanity (Population Bomb Phobia) movement. The early message wasn't resonated so they moved to more green and less soylent green. The founders were kooks and criminals, the cause would hurt humanity, but if you sell anything with peace and love, the rubes and sheep will follow.

Paul R. Ehrlich
Winner of many accolades for repeatedly being wrong: authoring the discredited and derrivative Population Bomb (regurgitating Malthusian Catastrophe via environmental Tragedy of the commons and popularizing the Global Cooling scare. The former disproved long before he authored/championed them. The latter flipped a few years after he made them.

Fracking
The left played upon a scare tactic that Fracking cause your water to become flammable and polluted and other myths like that. To quote a geologist, "It defies the laws of physics for fracks to propagate vertically back up through miles of rock and enter the water table". E.g. those that claim is is a source of ground water pollution, don't understand physics or geology.

Green Energy
Green Energy: doesn't exist, isn't cheaper, and can't provide all our power needs. Solar and Wind is unreliable, space inefficient and is expensive if you remember to add in the costs of over-capacity, backup plants, and storage. Cheap and reliable forms of Green Energy are: Nuclear, Hydroelectric and Geothermal: the left opposes adoption of these greener energy solutions.

Green New Deal
The Green New Deal was a program championed by AOC, endorsed by the left, confirms everything conservatives have been warning about the 🍉 Watermelon Environmental Movement: their goal is not to save the planet, but use that to enact communism/socialism in the U.S. $93 Trillion boondoggle intended to collapse the economy, and make everyone a dependent.

Hurricanes
The Climate scarists want people to believe every natural disaster is not an act of God or chance, but because of plastic straws or mankind. The science doesn't back that up. Hurricanes (or Cyclones/Typhoons) have been trending down in size and intensity, and weren't caused by Global Warming anyways.

Patrick Moore
Co-founder of Greenpeace and a very vocal participant in the early environmental movement. Scientist (Ph.D. in Forrestry) with a clue, he left Greenpeace when they, "abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism", in order to support things that would actually help the environment; Nuclear Power, responsible logging, and so on.

Gaylord Nelson
Earth Day's Marxist activist and Co-Founder was a Pi Kappa Phi frat-boy, anti-war activist, environmentalist, population control advocate. One of only 3 Democrats to vote to oppose Gerald Ford for Vice President. Avid supporter of radical leftists violence and vandalism that anti-capitalist (pro-environementalism) hippie-protests were doing in the 1960s and 1970s.

Nuclear Energy
Nuclear power is one of the safest and greenest form of energy on the planet: and the environmentalist left has always opposed it. The left got over 120 reactors blocked or cancelled in the U.S. so we stayed on fossil fuels and coal for that power instead. That was not about the environment, and it was anti-Science.

Paris Climate Accord
Trump withdrew from Obama's non-binding / unconstitutional treaty. Since we were exceeding it's requirements, but nobody else was complying. And the economy and technology don't repond to political treaties, they respond to advancment. Trump agreed to consider future ones, if there's a better deal. O'Biden put is back in it anyways; fuck the economy.

Solar Power
Different "Solar Power" has different issues: centralized (big plant) or distributed (residential) solar power. But there's a lot of flim-flam in what the cost/benefits are. It is not as green as the proponents pretend, it wouldn't need subsidies if it was cheaper, and it has no reliability unless it has backup plants that aren't "Green". So I debunk some of the lies (exaggerations).

Tragedy of the commons
We often get dire warnings about Malthusian Catastrophes, Ehrlich's population bombs and how individuals can't be trusted to manage shared interests. We need government to protect us from ourselves. History shows the opposite: individuals form small governments for common interests better than big governments, unless big government stops them.

Volkswagen emissions scandal
The first episode of Dirty Money was fascinating interviews with how the government stumbled on the truth after 7 years. But it doesn't explain the important stuff: why VW did this.

Wind Power
The best thing you can say about Wind Power is that it's less wasteful and inefficient than Solar Power -- but that doesn't mean much. Those that are proponents are usually the least informed on the topic, and they'll talk about how great it is in cost/MWh of generation, without being able to do basic economics on total costs.
